For over 200 years Morven was home to occupants who influenced the destiny
of New Jersey and the United States. But during its long history memory
became entwined with myth. A new book, Morven: Memory, Myth & Reality,
by Constance M. Greiff and Wanda S. Gunning, draws from the fruit of recent
investigation to provide a truer picture of Morven's buildings and
grounds and the fascinating individuals who peopled them.
With many illustrations and footnotes, the new history chronicles events
surrounding Morven through three centuries.
